Interplus succeeded in supplying 70 power coach with co-operation with semaf (Arab organizational industry) in 2019.
now Interplus stars supplying 40 power coaches with 80 generators by the same mentioned suppliers, this project will be executed by the end of 2020.
by the end 2023 all the fleet of power coaches in Egyptian national railway will be supplied by interplus.

Since supplying generators in 2012, Interplus had supplied the spare parts of the said generators for the purpose of related maintenance and overhauling.
Interplus also uses spare parts for overhauling and maintenance works as it is the company responsible for providing this service.

Interplus has started overhauling since 2009 for the engines MTU396-8V of the generators existing in this time in Egyptian National Railways and it has been overhauled 200 engines.
Since 2014 Interplus has overhauled 180 engine Man D2842LE211-12Vfor the supplied generators to ENR.
Currently ENR has contracted with interplus to overhaul the engine D2842LE211-12V for 200 generators in the next 2 years at rate of 6 engine /month and it may become 8 engine/month.

Interplus has established new workshop for the purpose of execution the requested monthly overhauling engines (6-8 engines / month).
The workshop has been established in accordance with the German standard level and under supervision of IMS Company.
The workshop has equipped with the updated equipment and tools to execute the overhauling in the best techniques which ensure the quality and efficiency of the engine according to the manufacturer’s company catalogue.

Interplus focused on the safety and security of laborin its workshop inside ENR by providing safety tools and equipment.
For this purpose Interplus has restructured warehouse, technical department and administrationdepartment to accommodate the development in the overhauling workshop.

Interplus has gained experience and high efficiency in the field of overhaulinggenerators in Egyptian National Railways since 2009 as it has overhauled more than 400 engines.

ENR has been contracted with Interplus to make maintenance operations according to the manufacturer’s company catalogue ,to new 40 power coaches (80 generators) and after that for 60 power coaches (120 generators)for next 5 years.

Since 2019 Interplus has established technical office and designed special software to follow up the maintenance works according to the manufacturer’s company catalogue.

as the operating of power coaches is distributed in several workshops (French Trains workshop, Spanish Trains workshop, Sleeping Coaches Trains workshop) which requiredfrom Interplus to establish small workshops in this area and provided it with required machines,equipment and materials which is necessary for maintenance works and according to highest accuracy and efficiency standard to keep the engine in good condition during its life time.
For the purpose of execution the maintenance works with the highest standard ,interplus has prepared 7 groups ,each group consist of 5 persons as follows :
2 Mechanical technician
1 Electrical technician
1 supervisor
1 engineer
This leads to increasing in labor gradually in 2019.
The above groups is supervised by senior engineer and technical manager.
This organization structure ensures making maintenance works in highest efficiency, supervision and control.
50 employees has been hired including (technicians,engineers,managers, administrative) during 2019 and they has been trained throw practical programs for period of 6-8 months on maintenance procedures in parallel with establishing of several workshops.

Interplus is planning in the near future to make maintenance works for all power coaches in Egyptian National Railways which amounted of 250 power coaches (500 generator).
There are still several projects that will be prepared in the near future inside the Egyptian National Railways, including maintenance and overhauling alternators, passenger coaches and Boogies.
